DISCOVERING THE BEAUTY OF THE PYRENEES
WITH FLEUR GRAY
This spectacular area of France is an artist’s paradise, frequented by Picasso, Dali, Maillol, Matisse and was the birthplace of Fauvism.

Moulin de Perle Ancient Watermill is peacefully situated in a picturesque valley in the Lower Fenouilledes foothills of the Pyrenees.  This tranquil location makes an ideal base for artists.  Whether on site or one of the many beauty spots in the area.  Offering vineyards, forests, rivers and stunning gorges.  Historic Cathar Castles perched on rocky outcrops creating breathtaking vistas of the mountains and mediterranean.

Each season presents its own colour range, fresh greens and yellows of spring through to the incredible autumn colours of the vines and deciduous forests.  The flora is unique, having the largest range of wild orchids in France.  All providing a rich source of inspiration.
